Ashley was born prematurely and weighed in at 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Her stay in the ICU lasted a month. Her parents at Christmas that this Day would be the day she needed heart surgery. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents went in Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart was been shut. Ashley is not a patient of any type of surgery. After being released, she went home at 4 1/2 pounds following being hospitalized two months. Since then, she has been in good health since! Her father is of English as well as German ancestry. Her mother's family is from Ireland. Her acting debut was made in the 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was initially approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she turned eight. In the present Ashley works in the printing industry. She wanted to be an actor from the age of just 10. Ashley was able to perform 35 commercials and later into roles in the theatre. Ashley currently has a love for acting. Ashley has dedicated all her energy in acting, and never was able to find time dancing or modeling. Ashley's last part was "Hanna Marin" in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2009). Ashley has also appeared on Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and in Solange's music videos for the track "True love". Britney Spears posed for her during the Vogue Magazine shoot. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
