Candice King is an American actress. She reached the top of Hollywood's ladder when she played Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice King first began her acting career during the mid 1990s, as a singer. In 2009 she released her debut album 'It's Always the Innocent People' in United States. It featured twelve of fourteen songs she wrote. The artist was also working simultaneously on her acting skills as well as guest staring in two series, one of which was How I Met Your Mother. Even though she enjoyed a long-lasting professional career, her biggest break came only with The Vampire Diaries. The show instantly became a household name. Candice's performance was lauded for her excellence. The role she played was reprised the show's 171 episodes over eight seasons. She was also seen playing her role in the spin-off series The Originals in 2018 and Legacies in 2021.
